its a sony it was mega bucks when new about 7 years ago!!

it has stood the test of time the footage was never crystal clear but was a lot better than anything else on the market at the time!

it now looks battered & is scrattched to death as it has been mounted on several different mx helmets & filmed loads of hours of enduro racing!!

a few friends bought the cheap copies from china that were a quater of the price & had a quater of the picture quality!!!

i have seen a lot of go pro`s at race meetings & seen the quality of the footage they really are top draw!!!!

if i was going to buy a new camera for filming extreme sports or tree climbing i would deffo get a go pro!!

Looking on eBay this is rife.... But, think of this.....

Almost all of the shiny electronic tat we pay a fortune to these American and Japanese companies for is made in china and actually costs only pennies.

Chances are this stuff could well just be lifted straight off the line and may indeed be genuine....

I remember reading several years ago about examples of a much anticipated toy tractor turning up on eBay, coming from china, for a couple of quid, before they had been released, the first container load hadn't even got to Europe! The French company who commissioned them went batsh**....

Incidentally, that seller may have gone, but the listing remains.... Cheaper though! I might have a punt!
