Isn't suppose to be a clutch there somewhere.

You will need a new clutch. Should take no more than 10 mins to change if the sourounding plastic are ok.

Was going to change the oil pump as well looks like it took a bit of a scuffing from the clutch think its also missing a washer and an E clip. Where's best to get these parts?ebay? Cheers

Looks like the rear plates have taken a huge hit from the springs. There could be some damage there. But then I've fixed worse looking.

Any idea what the cause of the failure could have been?

Looking at it I got some part numbers for you. You will need to strip it to see axactly what is broken behind but so far.

12, 1121 647 3100, carrier.

The clutch part numbers are in plenty but ask for a complete clutch. But a pm has been sent.

So this is the 026 you PMed me about - exactly the same as the 034 I had, sold to me as a runner:001_rolleyes:

You will need to knock the remains of the clutch centre off the crank, pull out the remains of the pinion gear, remove the pump, fit a new pump, pinion gear, clutch (possibly a new back washer), sprocket, bearing, location washer and e clip....simple:lol:
