i just bought a lanyard off honey bros (tachyon one eye splice) i ordered 3m and i was sent 5m can i just cut it down to length that i wanted or is there a special procedure to conform with LOLER etc?

why not keep it at 5m and daisy chain the end, instead of cutting off the end and having a useless 2m length:confused1:

or il swap you a new 3m for your new 5m:001_tongue:

Get an old kitchen knife heat it on the gas. Wrap the bit of your rope your are going to cut at point of where you are going to cut it. Cut through the tape and rope in one hit *hopefully* the knife will need to be v hot look for a nice cherry red. Cut and heat sealed in one fell swoop
