This was Saturday Jon near Shotley Bridge. 4 deliveries completed - 2 local to yard and 2 to Newcastle. Was pleased I had four wheel drive.

 

HI 90 i think thats the key thing a 4x4 now in the snow but tonight it now 2ins of ice on some of the lanes nr us 4x4 are no good on that but what is any good on ice :laugh1:jon :thumbup:

Well and truly snowed in, over 1 mile deep stuff to drive thru before I even see a road, so NO Log deliveries going out from here today:thumbdown:

been out with 7 loads this afternoon... main roads ok.. side roads nightmare especially when empty... and painfully slow in old transit, one load at time.. newer one wont tip for some reason... think a sensor must fozen as it tells me its fully tipped when its down!!!!

3 loads today. I've got a winch in the back of my Iveco, first 2 bags fine. Came back for the last bag and the winch wouldn't pull up the bag! Kept slipping! Hand balled them on in the end....
