its nice to climb on and has a good feel to it. just a pity its a stupid colour as it makes it hard to see when your working-but i am a little bit colour blind.

 

Comes in a hi-vis version now.

 

I rather like it, lighter than full 1/2 inch rope but not so skinny to grab as the 7/16. It milks some, but not too badly, and splices well.

 

I continue to have some trouble with my hitch twisting it on quick descents. Not too badly, though.

Bill, 11.7mm. The PI has a nice hand --I almost like mine....but it seems a bit "fragile". It shows wear faster than Velocity (perhaps because it has less added coating). The reality for me is that, while I like packing 11mmm(and 11.7mm) lines into small spaces and carrying their insignificant weight around, when it comes to actual climbing I like fat, firm, sustancial rope.
