Helmet Cam help

i am going to buy a helmet cam for recording some of the bigger trees i will be doing, i have no really idea on what to get i want something small, light as it will be attaches to my helmet. but also with good picture quality preferably HD. any help and suggestions would be much appreciated

Check out Contour as well. They make amazing helmet cams with some very good helmet mount options.

I would also consider the Drift Innovation helmet cameras.

 

They have a few advantages:

• Built-in colour monitor that allows you to review the video
  
• Mounted flat on your helmet - less tendency to catch on branches and ropes
  
• Easily mounted on top or side of helmet using velcro (lens can be rotated)
  
• Full HD
  
• Time lapse video - allows you to mount the camera on a tri-pod and record a days work and replay in minutes.
