I'm very lucky to be in the position I'm in and I will never take it for granted. Doing what I love in a fantastic place is more than I could have wished for at this time in my life and that will give me the drive to keep going and to always learn and progress in all aspects of life.

Today's job was to trim a few trees surrounding a villa under a stunning sun rise.image.jpg.370cea37418c8084923d87da9435749b.jpg however half way through the day my hand was destroyed by rope burn and I was as much use as a chocolate kettle. When I arrived home I cleaned the hand a burst all the blisters and tried to sleep off the pain to no avail  I'm now very frustrated with myself and feeling awful about the prospect of not being able to work. No work tomorrow as the truck is getting repaired so a day to heal up. hopefully I won't be in agony after a nights sleep.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
