Very sorry to hear about this.

 

I was just thinking that perhaps an HM Government e-petition might be a good way to get more publicity and hopefully some debate about the almost non existent punishments that exist for criminals whose thieving actions destroy small businesses. We're all insured, but being without our tools, even for a few weeks could sink many of us.

 

If we get 100,000 signatures, they are supposed to debate it in the House of Commons. We're constantly told that small businesses are the backbone of the country, but little or nothing is done to protect us from the thieving scum that jeopardise our future.

I got turned over for about £2500 worth of kit end of last year, however, I wasn't insured as the premiums have gone up and up and excesses are over £1000 so reckoned I would save a few quid!!

 

Told of at least three robberies at knife point in South East London in the lead up to Christmas! Two of robberies that took Saws etc, the third they took the van, chipper and saws!

These scum are more prolific and getting bolder, someone will end up severely injured or dead sooner or later!
