  1. I'm looking to buy that strimmer. It's the strongest one before getting to mtronic ones.. Would like to avoid mtronics ( less electronic less problems I guess ) Now is fs410 good for me ? I will be using it with line attachment. Strimming tall grass in neglected private gardens At the moment I have a kombi 130 which is definitely underpowered for these tasks Is fs410 an overkill / spot on / Or should I go even higher and maybe get a 460 or even bigger? Thanks Paul
  2. Don't know if that's gonna work but pm me if you would like my aluminium ramps .. Make me an offer pls Paul
  3. Hi, What engine oil to use for that shredder ?
  4. My initial thoughts were 150-200 It is simple and not as tall as it might look on a photo. Plenty of space. So to conclude anyone up for giving it a haircut potentially ?
  5. Picture below No idea what that tree is, it has sort of hairy bits at the end of branches.. Needs a shape up and slight reduction What would you quote for it ? It's not my tree but is in a garden I work at.. Thanks
  6. Oh! that's much worse than mine. Mine hit the gutter and got stuck between two houses.. My ignorance.. Should have taken off the netting and put it upside down much earlier..
  7. Blowing strong here in reading. Just saw my trampoline went flying... Broken net, bent supporting pole! Damn it! Eucalyptus nearby is dancing like hell...
  8. Got it and quite like it. Shreds branches nicely, have to be slow though with leafy branches as these can stall the engine. Anyway I'm glad I got it. Already help me with one job ( terraced house where it had to be taken through the house ) Recommended.
  9. I wasn't clear in my first post. This job is not for me. It's a customer who wanted me to do it, but job is too big for me and I haven't got that capable shredder neither a truck to take it away. Someone PMd already and I passed on the details. I will PM you as well. Guess 2 quotes would be good for a client... Thanks for your response.
  10. Hi, Anyone not so busy who would like to take on a tree clearing work ? It's all on the ground and needs shredding and removing bigger pieces. Job too big for myself and my little shredder. Can pass on details if anyone's up for it.
  11. They have plastic bearings ?
  12. Thanks for that. Asking for 550 ( what do you think? ) How do I open it up to get to blades ? What tools do I need ?
  13. I would like to ask your opinion.. I run a small garden maintenance business and I think eliet maestro would be a good choice for me. I don't like high chute position but that's the only downside to it in my opinion. I would shred small shrubs, bundles of ivy, smallish branches and anything bigger would go to my friend to burn in a fireplace. There is one available in my area. Apparently someone got it new in 2007 and are selling now with 9h on it :-I Apparently no commercial use. Is there a meter on that shredder so that I can confirm it ? 5 years with just 9h I don't like that.. I think engines deteriorate quicker if not in use than when used regularly. What do you guys think ? If I go to check it over what do I look for? What would it be worth to you? Regards Paul
  14. Of course you can if you really want to but would it make sense to build the whole Wordpress setup to only cater for a blog side of your website ?
  15. Wordpress is not just a blog. You can't just add Wordpress blog to a pre existing site. I you had a website already you could then use this layout ( structure/images/text) to build something very similar with Wordpress. Wouldn't take long.
  16. All looks good but I'd like to say that some design / hosting companies will not allow you to have access to your files / directories at all. You might be able to build a website easily but if needs come to change or add some piece of code to your pages you won't be able to do it. Not to mention moving your website elsewhere... You have to find a design / hosting company that will give you that access. I used to use yell to build a website but I didn't have control over files directly.
  17. Blog is important these days with google. They want fresh content and blog does just that. You can't be on 1st page of google These days without Fresh content ( unless there's no competition ) So build your website with wordpress and keep it fresh with posts on your blog.
  18. Wordpress is a platform You Can have different things on. It's for blogging certainly but you can have a professional website built with it as well. Google love it so no troubles with indexing etc.. Try and you won't think about anything else.
  19. Wordpress is the only way Are you in the UK ? I tried hibu. I have to say it was very easy to set up a new website but after that you can't do anything about it. You have no FTP access, basically useless. I use 1and1 as well and have used someone to design and create my website who is a reseller for 1and1. I'd totally recommend. I can't put you in touch if you wish.
  20. I don't know about the quotes but invoices are a piece of cake on Getpaid. What I like about Getpaid is you pay once for the app and there is no restrictions whatsoever after that.
  21. http://www.invoice2go.com/Pricing Have you tried Getpaid ?
  22. I tried a few apps for iphone. Most you need to pay for. They are limited to 100 invoices for free then 500 for 20£ annually etc.. I didn't want to pay and I kept looking. Found a brilliant app for invoicing Getpaid I believe it does cost few quid initially but then there's no restrictions whatsoever. Paul
