Mixed hardwood Mainly Beech, Oak & Ash from 6" to 20" mostly nice and straight.

 

Will be roadside in the next few weeks.

 

Please pm with your postcode for a price or send your number and I will ring you.

 

The timber will not be sold to locally to Kendal Cumbria.

I can never understand people trying to control the market by not selling locally, presumably retail processed logs and don't want to be wholesaling to your competition.

 

But in reality if they don't buy off you they would buy from elsewhere, so its not going to make any real difference.

 

If you sell to locals you can charge more, as they will be paying less in haulage, would that not be a good thing??

 

TBH, it would not be difficult for a local to use a mate who lives further away to make the purchase:sneaky2:.

They (cosy logs) must have their reasons as to why they wont supply to local log merchants, if the only reason is that they dont want to help the competition, then skyhucks comment says it all,if the locals dont buy from you they will get it somewhere else.
