rapist walks out of open prison !!!!!

 

So I chained his genetalia to a bench, left him a rusty knife and set fire to the building

i think if a rapist on a life or indefinate sentence is in an open prison it means that they have run out of room in the other more appropriate prisons

 

That means hes not the only rapist or worse in an open prison today

The reason open prisons exist is to allow for a gradual reintergration of long sentenced (10 years+) and low security risk prisoners into society.This includes day release for work, probation or home visits.You cant escape from them only adscond as they are unlocked from about 7 till 2200hrs and have very little in the way of physical security measures.Any prisoner can be eligable for D cat status (open conditions) irrespective of crimes.It is determined by many factors including risk of escape.Hope this at least clarifies how this happened.
