hi there all, firstly a firewood question...

i process fire wood from my arb arisings... recently there has been some smaller stuff brought back to the yard 3" dia branch in lengths. for instance a log ( from branch lenght ) 3" dia and 9" long... would you expect that to dry in the normal 12mts seasoning period? i would have thought they would take longer... thus have shy' d away from putting them in this years wood so far...

also ibc crates, do you market yours as 1 or 1.2 cubic metres?

also what roughly do you think an ibc crate weighs when full of green hard and soft wood?

cheers chris

I would think most species of log @ 3"x9" would be ok after 12mths,apart from oak and maybe beech/hornbeam

even when come from a branch lenght with bark allround it.
