Why is it so wet ?

We had good results using IBC cages to dry wood, they're roughly a cube, well ventilated, stack well as long as you don't bend them too much with the tractor and when empty I can carry them about.

Just used to chuck a rigid plastic sheet over the top.

a bit of rain onto the sides doesn't seem to hinder drying at all.

do you cover the sides when you come to sell? so logs at side are not wet from horizontal rain lol

I'm thinking of doing a pallet floor all logs loose with some chestnut posts one each corner (4) then a big tarp over the lot so sides are open then run green netting round the edges for horizontal rain.. Obviously will do the roof with a run off so rain doesn't sit.. Sound any good?! I've just got to hope the farmer lets me..
