Silky, I have a Tassimo which is great. I'm too lazy to deal with manual machines, even if they do make better coffee. No cleaning or anything required with the tassimo, just throw the disc in, press the button, and a nice steaming machiatto comes out the other end. Oh and the hot chocolate is lush too!

On coffee though, the best coffee I have ever had but been unable to source locally is Hawaiian Kona Gold. Note this is the coffee version of Kona Gold, not cannabis resin

The Gaggia machine I use has a proper pump in it and produces coffee to match and often beat proper coffee shops. Some of the expresso coffee you get from some of the big chains is dire. I dont touch instant, perculator or caffitere a well made expresso or I dont bother. You can tell a good expresso by how much creme is on the top. If the coffee does not produce the froth on the top chuck it down the sink. If my machine produces bad coffee it needs descaling and cleaning, the brita filter needs changing, the water is stale or coffee is not fresh. Its a huge amount of fuss but worth it. Stops the head aches and shakes
