cheers guys, its one of those jobs ill be happy after its finished. its a once in a life time tree really. im trying to enjoy it as much as i can. theres loads of pics hundreds but there not all good pics (after all the mrs took em) :laugh1: there will be a vid aswell at a later date. im hoping to get a crane in to pick the timber off.

not sure david, it turned brown in august. its in a hotel all tarmaced around its base, used as a turning circle so maybe, compaction or maybe the hard summer we had?

 

If you get the chance, I'd be interested in seeing an image of the cross section of the base when your finished.

It'll be a bugger if u have to cut it down in small bits! They cut nice, but can be really heavy to handle.. Wait for the crane :thumbup1:

 

originally i was going to rig it all down timber aswell, but now im thinking crane, it just depends what size crane we can get in as just under 9ft is the widest access to the site.
