Loosening Bar Nut on Husqvarna 435

I reckon at sometime the chain brake has been put on and the side cover removed and them been put back on causing the binding and the eventual failure of the brake band.

 

Reckon once the band is replaced and the brake released, all will be good.

 

Barrie - can we get a Youtube vid of the hat eating - I just hope it is one of those leather cowboy jobs I see at country fairs - now that would be a bit chewy:lol::lol:

I am delighted to let you all know that I collected my repaired chainsaw this morning from my local Husqvarna dealer in Montbron. With a new chain brake fitted it works a treat.

Top tip - chainsaws work much better when not trying to run them with the brake on :001_smile:

Thanks again for everyone on this forum for your help and advice - undoubtedly the friendliest and most helpful forum I have ever been on. People like me who have zero practical ability often get all sorts of unhelpful sarcasm thrown at us when going on these forums for a little guidance. :withstupid:
