I got chattin to an old boy one day when i was doing some work at an NHS site... he was telling me he had 50 + years in trees and when he started he used on of the old 2 man saws by himself, but he used an old bicycle innertube for the second man!

 

he may have been telling porkies, but he seemed to know his stuff and was still working as a groundsman at his ripe old age.
