Just told my mum that your woodburner is going a treat john ha ha. Dad and i are looking at a 8kw woodburner and looking to spend about 800 quid plus flue and fitting. What KW is yours?

HI MATT ours is a 16kw euro heat its very good cast iron there the best as they hold the heat longer mate or a good sec hand one will do the job i like a stove more kw then you need mate if it gets real cold then open the stove up all the best mate see you soon jon

We have a 3 bedroom detached 1980s house with no fireplace. Mum wants on put into the gable end of the house but cant get into her head how big a job it would be to put a fire place and build a chimney. Looking at an 8Kw or maybe a 12 but want it to be warm not like an oven as having new windows put in during the new year.

Can't emphasise enough how important a woodburner is for someone in our line of work. You effectively have a free source of heat that will give you heat reliably with absolutely nothing to break down, be affected by power cuts of fuel shortages.

We burn 3 stacked cubic metres a month at present, but our (old single story badly insulated) cottage is too warm to wear trousers most of the time. Living room presently 21 celcius, 35% RH. Minus 5 outside. Rayburn on and directing heat around the house with a little to the living room. Villager stove on very low in living room mostly for the benefit of the dogs!
