This was a job completed earlier in the year. Removal of a mature Oak that had been in decline for a number of years. One of the teachers at the school had setup a time lapse camera and edited a video of the removal.

 

Forgot to add, AaronMJ did the crown and I did the stem.

Very enjoyable video.

What was the heaviest lump lifted by the crane?

What camera did you use for the time lapse?

 

I think the heaviest lump was 3.8 tons. I couldn't tell you on the camera. The shots were setup by a teacher at the school. We didn't know it was being filmed. All credit goes to the school on that one.
