Nt sure I'm actually going to like or get all this.

So the thanking thing is so you can thank people for there input. But also other people can see there thanks and how many they have. So for example.

If two techies give advice and each are different the asker can look at there thanks and go with the most thanks...... Sounds like a points system to me. :confused1:

The bars thing is for prizes. To me this seems silly. Points mean prizes and all that. So by posting more then you get more points and win prizes. Seems a bit gameshowie to me.

I have no fear over what I post or any advice I give. Some are very good with describing what they need to get accross a point. I however need certain things in front of me to diagnose a problem as its the way my brain works. For this I will not get many points or thanks as I hold off a lot on posts as I don't know how to word it.

Anyway. Do we really need to encourage posts and advice. To me it seems its always given and taken regardless???

Or is it all just me. :confused1:

Just to make you feel better Rich, I get where you're coming from.

Any peer controlled system is as likely to encourage abuse as even handedness.

I think AT is perfect just the way it is.

But then I also downgrade my Microsoft office software to the 2003 version......

That said, whatever Steve chooses will be fine by me.... I'm not overly concerned to be honest, I don't have to give or count points if I choose not to.....

Good to know I'm not the only one a little concerned over how it will end up.

Maybe I'm just too tired an trying too hard to over think things. I think I need to go to bed and sleep for a change.

By the way I do agree that AT is perfect the way it is at the moment.
