I tried to sell some a while ago...good lengths about 4' dia and couldn't find anyone interested which seemed a shame.

Still got some which I'm now carving. There's always firewood market which is desperately short at the moment. Probably spits a bit though.

Possibly a man who goes by the name of Fred Bugg. He's based near Colchester. I've been to his yard once but can't do better than that. He took away a whole load of timber once. Sorry don't hace contact details. But he's infamous. Quite a character. He may even be useless to you, but it's a lead.

Sorry. Lee might know someone if it's towards the north.

Try speaking to simon from beechwood, whos name on here is big boss beechwood, and ask him for timber man bobs number. He comes and collects in an artic with a timber crane on it.

Great firewood, very quick to light, although also quick to burn. Best to use it to get the fire going.

One of the best woods to burn in an open fire, as the fragrance fills the room - even smells good as it sits in the corner. No wonder Solomon used it for the Temple of Jerusalem...
