thats my weekend foot ware haha :lol:. looking around atm for a kit bag, what would people suggest to put throw line in?

 

A throw line cube is good for that. The smaller the bag the harder it is it get it back in nicely

You won't need those irons , best of luck mate

 

he will need them irons.. you have to do a pole rescue of spikes.

you will also need a spare prussic for the recues and a harness to harnes conector (a stein cutaway sling with 2 snaps is ideal.

good luck.. good choice in harness.. the only thing i would say is the rope you have chosen was designed to be used with more advanced hitches than the prussic and blakes setups and is more for vt and mecanical devices such as a spiderjack

have a spare prussic just wasn't in the pic, the line will be okay though wont it? thinking ill try and learn the harder way first then maybe, all being well, buy a petzl zigzag early next year. yeah no probs tom, have tried them on already and they did seem more comfy than yours but im yet to try them in a tree haha

it should be alright tho there will be alot of friction with a prusic on the line as the line will 'grab' the prussic. like i say its ment to be used with system with less friction.. i have a yale imori to and also have a yale magma ice witch is my daily rop at the minit... im saving the imori for a spiderjack
