thats poor quality crimping to blame , nothing to do wi the beeen run @ a higher rpm,

Thanks Jon, Im being made to look like a numpty who doesn't know what im doing.

Both my local ag dealers looked at the machine and quoted "Crap Italian Build Quality" their words not mine!

It's also not only annoying the crimps giving but every time it empties the hydraulic oil tank which costs £40 odd quid to refill each time .

by your own admission

"I would like to add it appears I was running my splitter at too fast a rpm "

Yes it says APPEARS. my local ag dealer took the time to come out to site to fix the machine and I demonstrated to him how I had been running it and the speed was fine. I can give the dealers name, fitter who attended date and time if you like.

Without wanting to get involved in a "Fight" it is poor component failure as the tractor will have relief valves and the machine will also. Hydraulic pipes should only fail at well over the rated pressure is reached or has been damaged by other means.

Its a shame this is the outcome, its an imperfect world we all make mistakes. Just a shame we have this outcome, when it could of been so different by both parties. Peace Out.:001_rolleyes:
