Log Netter??

I'm in need of some help!

 

I'm looking for a simple device to make netting logs quicker, did it by hand last year as I didn't really sell many nets but this year I've had two shops take my nets to sell on so need to speed things up abit, I saw a device last year on Ebay and now I regret not buying it! It was like an open ended drawer on a hinged stand, you filled the drawer then slid the net over, then tipped it on its hinge and the net filled with logs slid off!!

 

Any body out there have one thats surplus or know where I can get one!? Or any body know of another simple cheap solution?

a 20/25 liter plastic container or an old plastic swing top bin, cut one side and the bottom out and off you go filling nets.

I'm having one of those metal tilting trays made by a steelwork fabricator as I type this. He said he'll do it for between £80-£100.

 

The Fuelwood one is £225+VAT and delivery Might be worth asking a fabby in your area if they can make one for you for a lot cheaper.

i was trying to give ours away as we didn't bother pursuing the net bag route i think the frame got flung out but i kept the scoop

25 ltr square oil drum with top and bottom cut off with jigsaw. Also works well for bagging large bags of kindling.
