just watched this weeks apology, what a fiasco, ...this will send completly the wrong message out to joe public.

Not really, I represent what you pros would call a 'weekend warrior', cutting wood to log shape, but I know enough to call in those who know what they're doing when it comes to dropping trees. I think joe will look at this offering tonight and think, Christ this tree felling malarchy is a damn dangerous thing and steer well clear. As said before, where in gods name did they find the (expert!) spaniard? Ar$e and elbow come to mind!

I'm so glad i didn't watch a single episode and after reading the various posts it reinforces my desicion....i've had enough of reality shows....they are the cheapest form of tabloid t.v and are as far removed from reality as is possible! Bring back "fly on the wall" documentaries!:D

This series started off poor and has deteriorated rapidly . Hands up who was worried when Pablo the expert came in ? Final straw for me was as said above putting spikes on to fell from the ground , confusing . There were trees going all over the shop .

Couldn't they have pulled that hanger down with a simple 4 ton hand puller and a long chain? The way they were attacking it, they obviously didn't expect it to come back towards them.......

Hi all, as the ash was hung up on a smaller one why did't they cut that one down as well, the bloke is drying to make money from the woods, he sold the usable ash for £250, but when it came to extracting it the horse team must of cost cost around £200 and £25 for the chap with the tractor, fuel,1 days labour etc etc good job he's got a job as a writer to go back to. Trouble is them townies will think this is forestry.

Hi

Am I right in thinking he said it took 60HRS to get the timber to the landing?????????? for £250 less costs.........and as for low impact logging, i think my Holder would make as much or less of a impact in that wood....

I am going to watch it on the i -player in a bit from what your all saying on here sounds more like a reality programm of how not to do things:lol:its obviously not caught my attention that much as its the second time I missed it since it first started
