Maybe the dealers idea of running it in was on tick over with a few blips of the throttle for a tank ... I doubt they would has access to timber required to run it in... That's my view any way.

I think Burrell and spud put some vids up a while back of mine and it was faster than a ported 357 but having used burrells and spuds ported 357's since then and they have been run in now and i have changed the 560 to 3/8ths chain It would probably be more an even match now..

Think I was running an 18" bar against your 15" and have since done a little more.....breathing on it since - reckon it would be an interesting contest now.

What's the advantage of 3/8 over the factory .325?

I did wonder if anyone has used 3/8 on a 560 as have just got mine and used it for two days now and think it is prob the best saw i have had, so far...

He runs 3/8 on his 372 and 395 and lives just down the road from me! Makes his own loops so is easier if they all match.

 

Never got round to testing 3/8 cut speed against 0.325 but think 0.325 will have the edge on this size saw and 3/8 for larger saws.

You should be OK. Apparently, the bloke that uploads Husqvarna's software updates for the dealers is back from his holidays tomorrow so they should be able to fix it a damned site quicker than my 550.

 

Customer service doesn't seem to be one of Husqvarna's strong points. :thumbdown:
