Yard Rent

What's the going rate for renting a bit of ground for log stack / chip pile / burn site? Need approx 1/2 acre. And I fully expect the answers to be varied!

Have a reasonable set up with a farm at the mo. I do all the treework they can't do with a digger bucket, Matbro, Telehandler etc. in lieu of yard space in various locations.

Problem is other people use it as well and keep dumping TV's, matresses etc. there and piling up US soil so Transit access is a ballache. Could do with sorting out a yard of my own on a more formal basis.

Fully appreciate the fact that some of you won't want to disclose what you pay.

Cheers.

i rent a concrete hard standing and barn off a local farmer, tenner a week,i,m starting to take up more and more space with wood stacks, kit etc so recently offered him double out of courtesy.he said don't worry about it.the respect goes both ways,i do a few odd jobs for him and have offered a hand if needed at harvest, think he's also glad to have another set of eyes round the place too.farmer's can be funny buggers but got on the right side of good to know :001_smile:
