Well she denied all knowledge of getting the invoice and the statement and after Anna gave her what for we have a chq. If it bounces we'll be back

Oh the old "lost invoice" line, do people think we're gonna fall for that old chestnut? And setting Anna on them is always handy. How much does she charge for a Debt Recovery Service?

Time to send in the big guns Matt, no more mr & mrs nice guy. I was talking to an old engineer yesterday, and this very topic cropped up. He had a bad payer once, so turned up with his gas-axe and offered to "alter" the family car. They paid up what was owed instantly. Another time he had a skip company owe a long standng debt, so he volunteered to remove all the skip lifting lugs as he drove around!! They also paid up pdq!

How do you go about collecting money from bad paying customers? im about to go the route of small claims court but unsure what it entails and if it costs me money?

I have bein reading the mostly helpfull sugestions,

First dont let white collar crime happen to you!

Intimination & reving chain saws at people are counter productive even if they make you feel good.

Send a letter stating the facts and give a weeks notice that unless payment is made you will be going to the local court and that extra cost will be incured by the person who owes you money. (defendant)

Remember the courts are your freind even if the (defentant) claims the job was of poor quality and even if it was, unless you have dammaged property you will still be paid.

Reputation is important and that is why it means so much.

A trap for the silly people avoiding paying tax is that they leave themselfs open to non payers as they dare not risk bein Dodded in.
