will check out them griffin cases , once i get new phone , sick of my old brick now after 2 weeks - dont leave your nice phone it on the dash board , even for 30mins , i leanrt the hard way a week ago - 4s got nicked - no phone for days n days - lost a job to it as had voice mail to book it in but by time access it job had been passed onto another person .. booooo - i miss my emails at work , maps to get me to a job etc

Doctor Green, may I suggest with your replacement phone to activate the lockout feature and tracking system. You may have a better chance of recovering your phone from the swine that stole it. Of course a nice new case would also fit the bill, Otter box my choice.

Used to have an "otter box defender" but have a "lifeproof" now. Supposedly fully waterproof, (my wife is training to swim Windermere lenghtwise and uses one) and shockproof to 2m falls.

I found the otterbox let in dust and all the other things that live in my cs trouser pockets. The lifeproof is fully dust proof.

It also feels much nicer to hold, no silicone stickiness etc. the difference is like the difference between an "aldi special" and a proper saw.

Less than £20 delivered off the bay. (Though that's for iPhone 4S, have not seem cases for 5 yet)

I have had a life proof case since they came out, I had it 4 months and it broke, sent it back and it lasted 6 months, I am on my 3rd now but don't use it as its also broke but warranty ran out. Back to otterbox now.

May I suggest not taking your iPhone to work or leave it in the truck while working that what I do with mine I have the 4s or get a cheap phone for work and iPhone for home but I would recommend the griffin survivor I have 1 and is brill

Another vote for Griffin here! Works well, but its bulky and hard to get out of a normal pocket unless its lined with sawdust. It unclips very quickly though as has been said.

Most of my calls go through to my mob and I've not got a full time secretary so need to answer it when it rings. Also when going to quote jobs I've often gone and looked at a job only to return and found a contact form from same village/town!highly annoying. Otter box looks bomb proof but like having a brick in your pocket. I will have to look into it before it breaks!
