Agree. New carb is the way to go. Would you really trust a recon carb?

Thats my way of thinking too,get the 020 carb,(it gets rid of the piston pump problem),its a straight fit, just a bit of an angle to get to the H or L screw through the 200t rubber shield, but not a prob.

Either that or get the 200t carb & if you get grief from it in the future,do the carb mod to blank off the piston pump, easy ten minute top whack fix.:001_smile:

Now you've started something. I was avoiding that for a very good reason. Just buy a new carb. Failing that spud or gardenkit could probably help you out.

The piston pump isn't the only problem with the Zama carb, I have come across at least two other issues that are part of a regiem I use to get rid of the poor idle problem!

I have a MS200 with a moded carb coming back shortly, it was done before I got to grips with the other issues but will sort it out once back and adjust the costs accordingly- I am like that:thumbup:

I give a lot of assistance on this site but long standing members with a good level of participation get the best advice and help......if you know what I mean:sneaky2:
