If I was buying my first chipper again I'd look at buying a new tw 125 or something similar. Put that 3 grand towards then tick the rest! Repayments wouldn't be that much. I'd never buy a second hand chipper again! But that's just my owwn opinion.

It is tempting, are they OK with lending to a young company?

They will check your credit rating and want a deposit....

I started off with a vermeer 620i woodchipper... rated at 5" but wouldn't take it! It would do 3-4" though and was a great chipper! i paid 1700 for it, used it for a year and got 1700 back for it!!

Some people don't have great experiances with 2nd hand chippers but others do..... Good luck :)

I brought my tracked chipper 2nd hand and I have had to spend about £2000 on it since getting it a few years ago mostly maintence stuff anyway bearings, belts etc. Now Iv got a good reliable machine which has eneded up about half the price of a new machine. So to sumarise, if you know a thing or two about chippers then theres nowt wrong with a 2nd hand machine but you may have spend a bit to get it up to scratch so allow for that in your budget!

I think that timberwolf are offering interest free finance at the moment.

Yer they say that but only if you pay like 50% of it as a deposit or something i cant remember the guy talked me through it its never as they describe!

The finance companys do the finance based on the value of the machine they dont even check your credit rating there interested in how much the machine is worth and that your buying from a proper dealer if you dont pay the repayments they will take machine back and get there money back.
