Sounds like it was a good one Arran! i would have been there if i hadn,t made other arrangements...so you,re moving down the Srt/rope wrench route? i have been tempted ever since i met Dan and Ian and certainly for access into the tree or ariel rescue it,s the way forward. Looking forward to the pics......come on lads! get Uploading! (or are you in the pub?) if so...get on Tapatalk:biggrin:

At the moment i am about 65% drt and 45% srt, they both have there place in my kitbag and if i was to get a stiff tether / zk2 percentages will change in favor of srt. When i rec climb it is always on srt now:001_smile:

I find limb walking back in on long limbs where i have no secondary and i need my full weight on my climbing line a real pain, and i dont like putting a hand ascending on my line before I go for a limb walk and running the tail of the rope through it just takes loads of time. The new rope wrench makes it alot easier with the pully in it and a stiff tether, need to spend more time on it through to get a real feel for it . Just like to keep it simple by using a rope wrench and a pantin :)

Ima keep learning
