we have had no problems with them reckon they last about 3-4 year

the cutters will brake if ur trying to do things with it that they ent design for

iv given mine some stick like noring at branchs because i cant be bothered to go get a saw :sneaky2: and my cutters are still good

iv never had any problems with tanakas

they ent design for really rough stuff as the cutter width will tell u

i had a demo machine of a solo trimmer now i thought that was a reall good rough cut machine big time see if i can find it

:001_rolleyes:Brand new MS201T keeps cutting out. Stihl dealership say it's all the ethanol 'that they're putting in the fuel these days' :001_rolleyes:

Try Aspen fuel (a single 5L canister) and if it still cuts out, go tell the dealer to find some other explanation. Aspen fuel is guaranteed not to contain ANY ethanol.

Last year my short Stihl hedge cutter seized and the dealers mechanic said "I've never seen anything like that before".

The tool had been used on about 12 jobs and was 3 days over warranty period.

Stihl wouldn't consider anything and said that my local dealer would give me advice on the best model to replace it with. I said I was a Stihl man to the core but then said I'd never buy another Stihl.

Moronic attitude!

Boo to Stihl UK👎👎
