i thought ten men's thread was quality, shame it got taken off, it stimulated some lively discussion

It was bordering bullying.

Slightly along the same lines of some young pup going to the pub once coming of age, and drinking with his older hill billy "mates" and deciding to "create the nights entertainment" by picking on the group uni students in the corner by hurling abuse.

Then again, as Butler says, perhaps it wasnt meant to read the way it did, but then again, perhaps his hill billy mates should have shown him the error of his ways.

We can all say or write one thing, then blatently make out it was meant in jest.

Having just offered a pipe of peace this may seem hypocritical but this has been my point all along.

The line needs to be drawn.

I think that ten men is probably a good person who got taken the wrong way.

Anyone that can do this job for twenty years is alright in my book.

We just saw something in different ways. Something that I feel strongly about:001_smile:

ten men is the best all round tree surgeon ive ever met, hes the guy standing behind me in my avatar pic. He has amazing talent for crashing jobs out and staying professional. Ive done up to 5 fair sized jobs in a day with him before. Amazing on a saw, great climber, amazing in a mewp, and i dont know any1 who can reduce big trees as fast and maintain great shape in the canopy.

Again I'm not saying it is intended this way..... but u using hill billys ect and the way your post could come across could just as easily been seen as bullying......this isn't a criticism just a observation guess we all need to b careful what we say and wright
