hi steve, get the sky guy in. i did once and he still turns out wee jobs for me, cutting back branches for dishes. a really good contact, because sky dont have this service as far as i know. They are usually 100quid silky jobs, the best! And debris straight into refuse bin. Everyone is a winner.

just bought a bt cordless telephone from currys for 15 quid. digital answer machine which is cool sounds ok has coverage of 300m apparently.

Internet is on a wireless router too works well.

I offered the bt guy cash to drop a line into a room and fit a box when he came to fix a line fault. Unbelievably he said no! Obviously bt pay real well thesedays.

Just go wireless, Steve, we recently got a new cordless phone with three handsets, the main base gets pluged into the phone socket, the other two bases just need a mains plug to charge the handsets. Our internet is wirless too that came with the broadband, the phones were about £70.

we are wireless. the problem is i just bought a wireless printer but it needs to be plugged in to the router, which is the other end of the house to my office, hence the need for an extension. oh and also the base unit with the answering machine in has to be plugged into a socket so all i have is one of the additional handsets in my office which isnt ideal either.
