The weight makes a difference, any mewp under 3500kg should be on DERV.

 

As far as HMCE cares, for a mewp the work or registration class is not relevant to rebated fuel, only the weight.

Obviously very apparent that there variants. This said, it shows that it is realy important for operators to ensure that they apply the rules for their own vehicle in there own enviroment....

 

Just because you have knobbly tyres and four wheel drive does not give entitlement to rebated fuel.
