What is it with dogs and fox poo.

It is the fourth time in the last week that the ruddy dog hath come back covered head to toe.

its all a thing everyone goes on about!

 

i reckon they love the smell and its probably a pack thing, mine also likes to find worms, gives them a good quash and rub.....nuts.

 

try tomato sauce to nuetralise the smell.

It's a primeval instinct thing hearkening back to when they hunted prey. They are disguising their scent so that prey do not sense them, I reckon they think they'll smell lovely:laugh1:

The stream at the bottom of the wood will have to do at the moment. Distilled vinegar is so far the best thing that i have found for foxy smells.

We have just had some calves born near by and my spaniel is partial to rolling about in , and eating the afterbirth . Fox poo and dead moles, pigeons and rooks are a specialty . I put it down to the very good but expensive Swiss finishing school we sent her to .
