Hi all. I'm looking to purchase a head cam for my helmet to film some climbs.

Any good buys? Any advice?

The Drift Innovation cameras have several advantages:

  1. Rugged construction
  2. Mounted flush to the helmet - less risk of catching branches/twigs
  3. Vertical/horisontal mount (lens can be twisted)
  4. Wrist-band remote control
  5. Small built-in colour LCD screen allowing preview

I used to use the vio pov 1.5 cam which is good quality bit of kit really perfect only downside was you had a wire from the cam to the little recorder pack. I recently updated t was either the go pro hero 2 or the vio pov 1.5 hd i went for the go pro simply because its on your head no wires just that unit battary life is terrible on it so added the extra battary pack to it also i find im always taking my helmet off to check its recording aswell but other than that a good camara also.
