Nice, looks a bit wonky though!!!

 

I know, it was a wonky guy did it:001_cool:

 

This in effect killed the hedge as there was no green on the other side and had already been topped, but the neighbour wouldnt play ball!

There is no right to light mate

 

This is going to sound pedantic but there is a right to light, it’s dealt with by statute under the prescriptions act.

 

It is worth noting that it is as good as impossible to enforce vis. trees.

What problem exactly Bob ?

 

next door doesn't want them doing and my customer does basically there about 20ft high blocking out the sun to there garden. we did them a couple of years ago and the customer was not happy really because he wanted to take more off but the owner wanted privacy now hes having trouble getting permission from the owner to take them down lower

i thought there was a right to light if you've had the same view of well wot ever there sun or a church or something for the last 20yrs and then its removed then you've got rights not sure wot it comes under though. i think its under building regs for extensions but its usable in the case of high hedges where a row has been planted and grown to block your light or veiw.
