Outdoor Power Tools were the original Timberwolf dealers before the became GreenMech dealers. As previous TW people, they will have done shed loads in the past.....Stephen or David Gregory are top engineers in the workshop and they have a depot in Derby (top side of town) and in Glenfield in Leicester. Derby office is 01332 830449

Will cost a fair bit at a dealer. its an easy job in itself just a little time consuming cos of all the stuff you got to take off to get at them. can do them in a day. Also dont buy "genuine" bearings as they are made by the same manufacturers just have timberwolfs mark up on. i got my bearings from ebay for a fraction of the cost. go for namede brand bearings such as nkn, timken etc and you'll be fine. my dealer told me if i didnt have genuine bearings they wouild break up in no time. rubbish! same bearing different name, he just wanted my money. unluckily for him i used to be a precision engineer so i knew what i was on about

You can save yourself alot of money by getting an engineer to match up your bearings like for like, no need to pay over the odds for 'special chipper bearings' :001_smile:

I replaced mine single handed spent thick end of a day at it, needed set of hydraulic pullers and used "The Dean Lofthouse Guide" for TW rotor bearing replacement, to be found somewhere on Arbtalk! Cheers Dean! It's been running sweet for the last few months so must have done it right!
