Hi guys hoping someone can give me a little info, I have recently bought a 1998 Land Rover discovery 300tdi, I was driving it today on a road with a a few speed bumps, the steering has now become extremely unpredictable and under braking or when I lift if the gas it feels like the back end want to go in a different direction to front end, was difficult to drive back actually

I have been told that the rear axle brackets might have rusted through and snapped, is this an expensive thing to have repaired ?

You need a garage who knows land rovers if you aren't capable of doing it yourself mate.

A landy type garage will fix you up in no time and know the cheapest way of doing it. Other "posh" style places maybe a little baffled by the agricultural simplicity of it!

Thanks, Been recommended the same guy by a few different people locally so will give him a try, hopefully it's just the brackets and nothing more serious.

Hi mate let us no how you get on mate thanks Jon
