No point second guessing these things until the report is complete.

But, (because i can't help myself when you get to see visuals after reading just press reports :blushing:) I have noted snow loading failures on the cedars at Kew fairly often, may of possibly been an historic loading failure that wasn't significant until the strong gale last month.

Yesterday for me was about meeting new people and i like to see how people like myself interactive with their enviroment. Although i was there to see great trees in a beautiful place in various states of Autumn colour,but my thread is about Characters and my two friends for the day were two very different people..Tony is Uber enthusiastic about Fungi and spends a lot of time in a position that is well suited to the examination and observation of these tiny organisms:thumbup1: As well as providing a much appreciated drop of Tea:thumbup:

Rob moved at a much slower pace as he was documenting Tree species,leaf shape,size etc...Armed with his graph paper Zoom,Wide and Macro lenses he will have put together quite a collection of images!:thumbup1:

i hear what you,re saying about the snow layers having added to the loading on the limbs..and shall be interested to hear your views once Rob has provided us with close ups.

Not this time Marc...they were busy the next day and needed to get to Tony,s place. Let me know if you,re ever up this way and we can enjoy the delights of the Botanist...:001_smile:
