Last day in Durham.Woke up early (as always) to very warm sunny weather...I have been taming a robin that comes into the garden every time I whistle...he comes right up to me:) cleaned my silky so it's at optimum condition for cutting as I am going to leave it for my Son.

Said goodbye to my Son and given him the Silky...he's an expert with one...like me:) said goodbye to the City...and had an interesting conversation with a bloke who specialises in re enactments of famous battles...he had a six foot hickory bow and several Ash arrows...one designed to clip the wing of a bitd...and a fire cage which carried glowing embers...several swords...my personal favourite...the billhook and a bollock dagger which the man explained was useful when finnishing of an enemy...rather than struggling to remove the helmet..simply stab through the eye slit:thumbup:
