First picture of the day. One of the grounds maintenance blokes brought this in to show me. A cone from the coulter pine aka "the widow maker" due to the number of deaths incurred from cracked skulls from this heavyweight!:eek: (this is a small one)

 

I got some of them from NZ, spiny sappy things. Took days for my hands to heal and the sap to go. Has that got to that size in the UK?

On my wander yesterday i caught up with the Team as they were about to fell this large oak...in very bad condition and close to a pathway, it,s last moments standing. Quite sad really as i watched it unceremoniously fall to the ground. But i had my Photogapher,s head on and not my Tree Surgeon,s.

HI PAUL what a saw mate i had 2 660 before that but the 880 is like a AUDI R8 goes very well mate thanks and does not use much fuel jon :thumbup:

 

Does not use much fuel!! Tis the most thirsty one we've got:lol:
