Rain, rain and more rain today....5 reductions got done so well done team Tango although the Arb manager got his pulley saver stuck on the last tree and had to do the climb of shame:biggrin: Matty F put up a very Valid point in the thread about stuck ART Pulleys....make sure you have a retrievable angle when you pull or it will hold fast...very true Matt.... I got to work with my new fellow Groundie/2nd climber and was suitably impressed...a Grafter with experience... Ok,work over for the week and only one week to go until payday!!!:thumbup1: i,ve waited 5 or 6 weeks:001_huh: XMAS Starts here! off to grab a Thatchers or two just to warm up for ZUMMERSET tommorow... see ya tommorow Jon!

Sorry to hear about your harsh situation. You're wrong about your future not looking good. This is just a temporary dip and if you're positive and want it, you'll be back on top sooner than you think.

Rekindle the spirit within👍.

Thanks

Was just having a bit of a bad day, I normally have quite a positive attitude :thumbup1:

Was just pointing out how a quick read of this thread helped to pick me up a bit.

Anyway the most important thing today is the meeting in the Tuckers tonight - have a great time all who are going, wish I could be there but just too far:thumbup:

Good Evening Arbtalk!:001_smile: or is it good morning:confused1:...For the record,"Tucker,s Grave Inn,Somerset" is the Best Brtitish Ale House! I did most of my formative Ale supping around Durham and Newcastle and have taken part in some Epic sessions but this was a bit special... it,s like going back in time and time itself stands still when you are within it,s walls...there is no bar,no music...no T.V...just great Scrumpy cider and Ale:thumbup: we started about 12 o,clock and had a couple of halfs with Mendiplogs and Mrs mendiplogs,Bob Slade and Eggsarascal....this took place in what the guide book describes as "The centre of the universe" The Bar area to you and me where apparantly ferret racing used to take place ammongst other persuits. The Cider has such a vibrant Orange colour which is down to the carrot extract...it is delicious and three halfs lasted me the whole afternoon! Bob kept us enthralled with his Ballooning tales. When he left we went of to get some food...i had fish and chips and John and Eggsy had a fry up...we popped into John,s local for a Thatchers...quite ammusing as John carried Douglas (His dog) under his arm everywhere he went:lol: then it was back to Tuckers and the Tap room and this time it was Pints and Jugs( £10) of the Orange stuff:biggrin: We were joined by Treepee,Marc lewis,Ranger Matt SamArb and Gensetsteve Who educated us in the science of logs:thumbup1: That is the last thing i remember..........:drunk:
