Midday means Dinner break! I am a great believer in as many pauses and breaks in the day as is nescessary to boost Moral...stamina and therefore productivity...it's not rocket science:rolleyes: I go down the Chippy...couldn't find Tuna so sttled for cod...time to meet the client and he was kind enough to supply a heater in his Man Cave and Coffee and a look round his creation....in 1972 he took 18 inches out of the middle of a Range Rover...joined it up with a 3.5 V8...what a noise from it!

Not only did he strip out the tree so Smoothly...being on the ground snedding. Crosscutting and basucally processing the branches was made easy by this thoughtful climber.However......He was udung ZigZag on blue tongue through a Teufelberger pulley saver so even in the slippery-est lichen covered Sycamore tree (IN THE POURING RAIN) Was text book......Just Sayin:)

Thanks bud, use decent gear just makes things that little bit easier and smother, could never go back to a prusick or blakes at a push I'd hitchclimber it but the zigzag is the way for me, even in the rain it's the same as the dry. Saying that I have decided I hate sycamores like that in the rain, if it weren't for having the tm booked for this today I'd have called it and gon conny bashing.

That man is a local legend! He is like something out of a morris Saunders book with his collection of old self modified equipment. 1 of those character's who will just keep going and going til the last day!
