what i posted was in regards to a post i started in the gerneral chat bit calling buying my first land rover or thinking of buying my first land rover and all the owners slatted them and most of them told me to buy jap.

 

Yeah I know I'm just messin', I'm agreeing with you :001_smile:

we weren't slating them alasdair, we were just warning you of the joys of owning a land rover. We all love them to pieces and hate them in equal quantities.

ah ok cool cool,

 

land rovers seem to be like arbtalk once you start you cant stop would i be right?

 

It's looking that way... I can see arbtalk becoming an addiction and I'm not sure if I'd have enough time for Landys too :laugh1:

 

I wouldn't be able to get one for ages anyway being a broke teen n'all :hmpf: (and only having a bike license.. ;))

ok fair enough but ive still got the bug and still want one. it really scares me the fact i know the problems and amount of money i could end up spending on it but i still want one

klaymeb once you pass your driving test my sure your first purchase will be a landy.

 

'Fraid not.. already got a Ford Ka :thumbdown: not my choice but I must admit it's nippy and you get quite a few miles to the gallon out of it etc etc... and it's purple so I can put up with it :biggrin:

ford ka aint that bad for fuel and stuff i used to drive one just watch out for rust and leaks

 

now it sits in the front garden awaiting getting finished and put back on the road

Haha, you're actually spot on there.. it's got quite a few rust patches I'm keeping an eye on (it was second hand), and I might need to change the water pump soon
