Thanks for starting the thread dog tag, I've always liked this thread and its been interesting seeing other climbers set ups, and its never been side tracked.

Very nice Dog Tag but what's the green ring for?

Ta Old Mill.

Mostly keeping Lanyard off the ground and stopper.

I have used it as an anchor point.

Will put up some photos of diff apps.

Thanks Adam,

Always keen to know what other climbers use. Just spent a nice Saturday on a Rec Climb, with two other climbers. We all learned stuff from each other and swapped kit to try out. It was very enjoyable, no pressure to get job done. Will do a few more Rec Climbs, when time permits.

Love my new lanyard and again thanks to all Arbtalkers for all the input.

Bit of a resurrect but it's nice to keep a good thread going....

My new one....

5m of 10mm OP, 8mm Sirius into a vt, pinto and rock-o and Sirius prusik loop with ISC anchorage ring, all tied and hanging on a pirate.

Oh to be able to splice!

That's exactly the look I was going for :lol:

The ring won't live on it all the time, will be in the way most of the time, but on the odd occasion when I want to use it a bit longer for work positioning it will be handier than taking my second line up....:thumbup1:

I watched in utter disbelief as a bloke use his brand new imori rope to pull a chipper out of a tight spot!:scared: The rope was butchered except for the spliced end which had been tucked away so i salvaged it and it is now what i call my "Sports strop" i love it.. Simple and visible :001_smile:

is that the 8mm Beal accessory cord?

Just got some by mistake....:blushing: and was not sure what it was suitable for as its "dynamic" rope suggested for fall arrest etc ?

?any help appreciated!

So the ring is used if you want to use the lanyard as a single line so you can use the full length?
