Rayco rg20hd throttle problems

Hi there lads, just some advice needed about my rayco rg20hd, at the start of the job it fires up fine sometimes battery flat but starts with jump leads, clutch engages fine but after a stump i have the throttle locked on the handle but the revs drop about half and i struggle to grind anything, i dont know whether its the throttle cable stretched, any ideas or has any one else had this trouble?

Sounds to me like you need to sort the battery problem out first, is the battery knackered? or is it not charging?

It seems to be fine after i jump start it but dont see how it could be the battery that effects the throttle? but im not that mechanically minded!

It's likely the starting and throttle problems are unrelated

 

The revs dropping off may well be a blocked fuel filter

Is it an electric fuel pump?

My first thought, check the inline fuel filter.

have u cleaned the fuel filter,is the throttle cable snagging on the choke cable were ther conectted to the engine ,

Yeah i will check the fuel filter, some one else has thought it might be that!
