Hi guys, really stupid question so please bear with me!

I am looking at booking my cs30/31 in the next month or 2 and have been looking at a range of courses near to me.

I am looking at doing a lantra course near to me and was simply wondering if there was any difference between the 2 providers, the only reason I ask is because a lot of jobs I have been looking at list "NPTC CS30/31" as a necessary qualification instead of "LANTRA CS30/31".

Does it actually matter or not, the only reason I ask is because I would like to find out before I part with any cash

Thanks!

Lantra (currently) provide training courses.

NPTC (currently) do the assessing.

Having completed Lantra training (other trainers are available :sneaky2:)

you would be expected to do an independant NPTC assessment.

Hi

If you want to do further course in the future do NPTC as it is the norm prerequisite to move forward. Lantra used to be an on course assesment by the trainer, NPTC assesment is carried out by an independant assesor and not your trainer.

Hope this helps and is correct as this was how how it was when i did.
